We are a restaurant and bookshop opening Monday to Friday for lunch only. Lunch is seated at 1pm for one single sitting. We offer a 5 course set menu at £60 and an extensive cellar of wines. The bookshop can be visited during the opening hours of the restaurant.

The menu consists of bread and butter, a soup, a starter, a main course, cheeses, a dessert and coffee to finish. Irish oysters, when available, can be enjoyed as a supplement to the menu.

Lunch will take at least two and a half hours and guests are welcome to linger into the afternoon with digestifs or wines. The menu cannot be adapted to suit dietary requirements and is not suitable for guests who may need these.

The bookshop is of broad and general interest, including literature, photography, art, poetry, food and children’s books. Both new and second hand.

All reservations are taken by telephone or in person.

Dogs (except for guide dogs) are not allowed in the restaurant.

Young children and babies are welcome providing the appropriate space is available.
